My hubby is not in town. He's in Nagoya now, must be sleeping like a log as he just touched down this morning. I MISS HIM!! We met up with his NUS classmates on last friday @ Holland V Fosters. This time round, we were given the Fosters' VIP card again as we consumed more than $200 of beer + snacks. (mostly, beers! *sigh*) This is our 2nd time there. We already gotten the VIP card on our last visit. We sort of like the place as it was not v noisy, is actually quite a nice place to chill out...The boss, Johnny still recognises Yingwei! Probably becoz we were rather rowdy on our last visit there.
There were some interesting facts disseminated during the drinking session:
1. Both Julie, Mark's wife and Angela, Jamson's wife are pregnant. Both have just got over their 1st trimester with not much vomiting. Congrats to them!
2. E Fung is leaving for Calcutta for a short photo shoot session.
The turn-out for this gathering was rather good, about 12 pax. Of which, many were our(Yingwei & myself) wedding's Brothers/Xiong Dis and Sisters/Jie Meis. So coincidence....
Another piece of good news! Yingwei has cleared his base-check and line-check on the last 2 consecutive SUndays. For those who do not know what line-check is, it is an annual flying test that Yingwei has to clear. As for base-check, it is a simulator-based flying test on every half-a-year basis. I am glad that he cleared. Can also see that he has much more confidence in his flying.
